The Freestyle Unveil

This project is an unveiling video that expresses the product's characteristics through trendy visuals, emphasizing both the 'Design' and 'Feature' of the product. It demonstrates the versatility of the projector, showing that it can fit into any lifestyle preferred by the MZ generation.
In this project, I was responsible for the look development of the scenes with the camper in the forest and the party table with a cake. I received the scene with the camera fixed on the main object and, based on the concept, I designed the space, placed appropriate objects, and then proceeded with shading, lighting, and compositing work.

Since the client wanted the beam projector to appear sharp and clear, I worked on making it glow as a material rather than projecting light in the CG. For the camper scene, I used minimal objects to avoid clutter, filling the rest of the space with trees and natural elements to create a harmonious look. For the party table scene, I created a cake and confetti to depict the party atmosphere building over time. I made sure the projector's projection was visible on the confetti and installed lighting so that the projection could also be seen on the objects. I paid special attention to positioning the lights to ensure the setup appeared natural.

이 프로젝트는 제품의 특성을 트렌디한 비주얼로 표현하며, 제품의 ‘Design’과 ‘Feature’를 함께 강조하는 언베일 영상입니다. MZ 세대가 선호하는 어떤 라이프스타일에서든 모든 것이 가능한 다재다능한 프로젝터임을 보여줍니다.
저는 이 프로젝트에서 숲 속 캠핑카와 케이크가 있는 파티 테이블 파트의 룩뎁을 담당했습니다. 메인 오브젝트를 기준으로 카메라가 잡혀있는 씬을 전달받아, 컨셉에 맞게 공간을 구성하고 적절한 오브젝트를 배치한 후, 쉐이딩, 라이팅, 컴포지팅 작업을 진행했습니다.

클라이언트가 빔 프로젝터가 선명하게 보이는 것을 원해서 CG 상에서 라이트를 프로젝션하지 않고, 재질로서 빛나도록 작업을 진행했습니다. 캠핑카 씬은 지저분해 보이지 않도록 오브젝트를 최대한 간결하게 사용하고, 나머지 공간은 나무와 자연물로 채워 자연스럽게 꾸몄습니다. 파티 테이블 씬은 시간이 흐르며 파티 분위기가 무르익는 장면을 연출하기 위해 케이크와 콘페티를 제작했습니다. 빔 프로젝터가 콘페티 위로 프로젝션되도록 작업하며, 오브젝트 위에도 프로젝터의 영상이 보일 수 있도록 라이트를 설치했습니다. 이때, 라이트의 위치가 자연스럽게 맞아 보이도록 신경을 썼습니다.
